Backups and recovery

Agree on backup coverage and recovery arrangements with support and your IT team.

Backup and recovery are coordinated with Pluraprint support and, for on-premises installations, your IT team. There is no backup or restore control in the admin dashboard.

Agree on a recovery plan

Ask your Pluraprint contact to confirm:

  • What is backed up, including print files and application records.
  • How often backups run and how long copies are kept.
  • Who monitors backup failures and requests a restore.
  • How much recent work could be lost and how long recovery is expected to take.
  • When recovery was last tested.

These arrangements depend on your installation. Confirm them before relying on a particular recovery time or retention period.

Requesting recovery

Contact support with your portal address, the approximate time the problem began, and the records or files affected. Explain whether users can still sign in and whether printers are running.

A restore can replace newer records with an earlier state. Agree on the recovery point and any operational pause with support before resuming work. After recovery, verify users, recent jobs, printer status, and access to print files.

Data retention is a separate setting that permanently removes old jobs from the application. It is not a backup policy.
